Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová describes the events of the past few days, from her experiences at school to a series of performances singing Czech folk songs, performing in folk costumes and dancing the Beseda. Bohuslav Martinů wants nothing for the lessons he gives her, but VK has promised him a stay in Three Wells. So they have to book a place for him. Václav Kaprál was probably not too impressed with JULIETTA, since he wrote about her so briefly. VíK also criticises the Kapráls' assumptions about her relationship with BM: "Don't be angry with Martinů, I wouldn't have so naively put it under my nose if it were true." Tomorrow [Josef] Páleníček and [Pierre] Fournier have a concert, the day after [Míra] Holzbachová. VíK sends the Hymn [of the Voluntary Sisters of the Czechoslovak Red Cross], but VáK has yet to compose a second voice for it [according to the note by the sheet music - now in the Moravian Museum, A 29.755b]. The April preludes already have an opus and have been corrected. He will send the [two female] choirs this week.
