ContentBohuslav Martinů reacts to the funeral of his brother Fanouš. Marie must hold on. Nebuda wants him to set the verses for the choir. Maruška [Pražanová] wrote that Marie will stay with her for the time being. Marie's housing situation must be sorted out, J.'s plan is not to BM's liking. He would like to know something about Karl. Miloš [Šafránek?], Š[ebánek] and Bures have not been in touch. Thought the Czech Philharmonic was now to be in Switzerland. They are going back to Basel for a concert on 20 Oct, then back to Nice again. Auntie is no longer in Paris. Saturday night they will broadcast the Gilgamesh from Turin. A letter came from Rybka.
