Content and physical description

Content	This is information about Maji Schermerhorn's visit to the Czech Music Fund. The MS promotes Czech contemporary music in the Netherlands and other Western countries. The purpose of her visit was to discuss the promotion of the works of Leoš Janáček. The MS expressed interest in a concert performance of Bohuslav Martinů's THREE SONGS FOR CHRISTMAS (dedicated to Šárka Pacovská). The manuscript is owned by the Czech Music Fund and it was agreed to provide the MS with one copy and, with Charlotte Martinů's consent, the MS will include the songs in its repertoire. It is envisaged that the first performance should take place in Prague.
