Content and physical description
ContentGeorges Neveux [and Jeanne Neveux] will spend August here [in Bullion], and so will not be in Paris on the 26th [8th]. GN regrets this, would like to see Charlotte Martin and talk to her about their plans.
As ChM knows, GN was in Prague in May. He accompanied a representative of French television there to give them permission for a film based on JULIETTA, which Václav Kašlík wants to make and which would be a co-production between Czech, East German [ChM handwritten correction: West German] and French television. They gave their consent, on the condition, of course, that ChM also agreed.
GN v was in Dili and signed the documents, which again require ChM's consent.
GN learned that JULIETTA was performed in Vienna by a company from Prague. He therefore asked Dilia to deliver to him a portion of the royalties from those performances that were performed in countries where there is no currency border. They wrote back to him [GN quotes a telegram signed by Mr. Jelinek] that they were negotiating with ChM in Prague about JULIETTA and would inform him of the results next week [ChM's note: Zdenek Pechold promised to settle the matter when he was in Germany]. What did they agree on there?
Regarding the Opera in Paris, GN can't do anything in August, everyone is on vacation.
Regarding the National Opera in Lyon, he will inform the Cultural Affairs Department ["Affaires culturelles"] in September, he can't do anything until then either.
ChM is to keep him informed and give him the address of his residence.
