Content and physical description
ContentEleni Kazantzakis thanks a lot for the songs [for?] Bohuslav Martinů, who is writing the opera to his own libretto. The EC also reports that a contract has been signed with the Plon-Prima film company for "Christ Re-Crucified" with Jules Dassin directing. It hopes to have the film submitted to the 1956 Biennale and Cannes. His only regret is that they [along with Nikos Kazantzakis] did not get to meet JD. The film treatment may use BM's music, if it suits.
