Content and physical description
Content[William Strecker] is happy that Bohuslav Martinů has found a place to live. The piano extract of the CONCERTO FOR VIOLONCELLO AND ORCHESTRA [No. 1] was first sent to BM's Paris address, and then to his former address in New York. They are now waiting for the return of the copy, as they do not want to risk publishing the work without BM checking it. If the shipment still has not arrived, he is to let BM know. Once everything is done, WS will send copies of the copy to all the people BM mentioned in his letter. Given the situation with Associated Music Publishers, WS advised BM to meet with Richard French and "raise hell". However, BM could also meet with Charles Wall. WS has no information about [Pierre] Fournier's appearance in Lausanne. His other appearances can't take place as they are waiting on the aforementioned Calvary lift with production. WS wonders where BM is now and hopes to meet again in May to sort out other details.
