Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů writes to Robert Vannoy that Rudolf Firkušný is with his family in the south of France and is touring all over Europe (he is currently in Israel).
ChM is grateful to the addressee for his love of Bohuslav Martinů's music. She also thinks the Concerto for Cello and Orchestra No. 2 is beautiful. Unfortunately, it is not played in Paris. Sasa Večtomov plays it often and very well.
ChM is also glad that RV still keeps in touch with Libuše and Nicholas Mara. They don't seem to know about Frank Rybka's suicide. ChM thinks it's a bit silly to take your life at 76 because of an unhappy love.
Thanks for the nice photos. She mentions her poor health limiting her. Gives the Florida address of Colonel [Alexander] Hess, who directly saw FR's suicide. Do the Moors know him? Would they want to know about FR?
