Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů is devastated by the death of [Emil] Leichner, who performed Bohuslav Martinů's compositions countless times. Sasha [Večtomov] left the Czech Trio for a solo career together with [Vladimir Večtomov]. The situation with [Hans] Moldenhauer has been resolved, he will give ChM $300. ChM received a letter from Supraphon which she didn't understand at all, so she called her friend who understands the situation. It is about the rights to CONCERT FOR HOUSEL AND ORCHESTRA No. 1. ChM asks Karl Šebánek to help her with other administrative matters and forwards the letter addressed to HM. [Jaroslav] Šeda has not fulfilled any of his promises and ChM's book is still not edited. ChM received beautiful photos of the exposition from the Polička Museum. GL [Germaine Leroux] asked ChM if she knew of a book about BM, which talks about old songs, travels around the world and the history of Bora. ChM adds a handwritten note about a violin concerto and makes sure HM wrote it. She thinks it was more likely written by [Harry] Halbreich. ChM asks for František Tichý's stamps to be sent. Asks KS to pass on messages to [Anna] Špačková and also to phone SV on the telephone number she encloses. ChM is also interested in the names of students who want to name their trio after BM.
