ContentAt the end of June, Charlotta Martinů asked Karel Šebánek to send her the score and material for the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No.3 for the San Francisco Symphony. She has [Rudolf] Firkušný's material in Vieux-Moulin, but would like to give it to [Mario] Bois. VELOHRA ON THE BRIDGE was successfully performed in Vichy under the baton of the conductor from Lyon [M.E. Cariere]. MEC would like to perform another opera by Bohuslav Martinů. ChM would like to send him other scores, he will see what he has at home. ChM is going to the Lucerne Festival to hear RF. She has also attended all the Czech Trio concerts in France and a performance of the CONCERT FOR TWO PIANOS AND ORCHESTRA in Monaco, which was a critical and public success. If KS sees Jan Novak, he should let him know if he has received the book in Latin that ChM sent him.
