Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů entrusted the contract from Panton to her lawyer in Zurich, who did not send it back despite her urgings. The manuscripts, which are in the [National?] Museum in Prague, can be edited in France. It is a pity that many of Bohuslav Martinů's compositions are unpublished and unknown to the public. JULIETTA was performed at the Radiodiffusion française and was a great success. The material for the CONCERT FOR CLAVIER AND ORCHESTRA, which was to be published in Olomouc, was not published by [Josef] Páleníček. ChM would therefore like to know who arranged the edition, as the whole situation seems very strange to her. If Karel Šebánek is interested in BM's music, ChM would be happy to have it sent to him. He and [Max] Eschig are still looking for the Wind Quartet [QUARTET FOR OOBOY, HOBOY, VIOLONCELLO AND CLAAVIER?] If KS has any news, he is to pass it on to Zdenka [Podhajska], who will pass the news on to ChM.
