ContentMiroslav Barvík told Karel Šebánek that the Ministry of Culture intends to invite Bohuslav [Martinů] to the spring festival [Prague Spring] next year. They will send him [BM] a letter to Nizza. They want to settle things with him. BM is to request that KS send to him to discuss publishing matters. Everything is otherwise as it was. KS's sick sister is in an institution and visits her mother several times a week. KS has not been invited to the 70th birthday party of Otakar Šourek. It is a pity that he did not meet Mrs. P. [Maria Prazanova?]. Mirko Očadlík did a lot for BM. He also contributed to the success of COMEDY ON THE BRIDGE. At the State Music Publishing House, [Václav] Mikota will be the director. You can buy material from Melantrich (Václavské náměstí 36). Also the score, which is with them [in Polička], needs to be reproduced.
