ContentBohuslav Martinů and Cherlotte Martinů wish for the New Year and that Jan and Eliška Novák get a beautiful apartment. How long will they stay in Bechyně? BM hopes that the Clavier Sonata was enjoyed. [Rudolf] Serkin also just performed it in New York. They are to write how the performance turned out. BM is glad he doesn't have to change anything. Serkin also play it the way BM wrote it. The F with the base on page 8 is obviously a mistake. It comes out in print in Paris, so BM sends it. The Martins will be in Switzerland over the winter and are looking forward to a real winter with snow. They have plenty of coal, otherwise he'd probably be too excited.
