Content	Karel Šebánek thanks for sending. He will pay as soon as he finds out how much to send. Stanislav Novák suffered a stroke again as he did a month ago and was taken to the hospital. He [SN] has not yet replied to the telegram from America. KS will write a letter. B[ohuslav Martinů] is waiting in [Prague] for the rectorship of the Conservatory, the presidency of the Music Department of the Artistic Beseda, etc. He can choose. The Philharmonic will perform the Field Mass the following season after the holidays. The material is already being procured. The score of JULIETTA is with SN. Could not have it copied due to lack of paper. Talich is already out, but he has some problems. In the autumn the affair with Jirák's letter will be revived again [in Prague]. Today [Rafael] Kubelík asked KS if he would go to Polička, they could stay together. KS is on leave from 12 August. He gave [Jaroslav] Jindra a receipt today for the sums KŠ had paid to the Martin family. He confirmed his receipt of 3000,- 3000,- and 5000,- Kroner, which were paid from the Edvard Benes Fund.
