Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kapralová is certainly already in Brno. They [the Martins] are already preparing for their return [to Paris]. His plan to go back [to the Czechoslovakia] is still going on and is getting stronger, but conditions have changed a lot. He will return to Prague, however, even if he were to establish a school there himself. Would it help him? BM is baffled by the situation in Paris. He is disillusioned by the difference in musical development in a world so different from his style. Music has been his great support and escape from reality lately. Although [in Schönenberg] it is quiet, he cannot breathe freely. VK has yet to make up his mind. She could write to Š. [Otakar Šourka]. It would probably be better for her to spend that time in Paris. When BM returns [to Paris] she will inform herself how it looks. Standa [Novák] [will probably also write lines]. SN sent BM a postcard [from] the Wells, BM therefore reminisced a lot. VK is already to write to him in Paris and not to forget the Czech dances [VK's Suite rustica, Op. 19]. BM struggles with the solo violin [CONCERTANT SUITE FOR VIOLIN AND ORCHESTRA] and envies VK for being able to write for the whole orchestra. BM won't go to Prague now, but he will definitely come in the season to see what can be done for him there.
