ContentThanks for the letter from 06.09.1973 referring to the question about the copyright of the CONCERTO FOR VIOLIN AND ORCHESTRA, H 226, which claims to hold Mr Dr Hans Moldenauer [see SNKLHU 1973-09-10], and of which Supraphone would like to do a recording with the Czech Philharmonics [see SNKLHU 1973-08-07].

Meanwhile they got to know that Mrs Charlotte Martinu really signed a contract with Mr Moldenauer. He did not pay the compensation of 300 Dollars, and would have had the rights only for America. The performance and broadcast rights are in the hands of SUISA and MECHANLIZENZ, anyway.

Just to be safe, ChM signed a declaration, which is added to this letter as well. Now all problems impeding the publication of the CONCERTO FOR VIOLIN, H 226 should be solved.
