Content and physical description
ContentAfter his severe letter to the Universal Edition, they finally understand, that Universal Edition is behaving like a thief. Thanks very much for everything he has done [?]. Asks him, to write to Martinů, too - the "good-hearted but naive - even worse than Nikos" [probably because of the conflict around the GREEK PASSION, H 372 I see UE 1957-02-26, a TauM 1957-06-17]. They already recommended him to send his contract to Max Tau, so he can read and make an assessment. He is as silent "as a lamb", but a good musiscian, though.
Nikos still works, but he has health problems, and because of this he will have to go to Freiburg around 10.03.1957. Now everyone is awaiting Mr Heilmeyer´s return from San Francisco. They would be glad, if Mr Tau would tell them how the UE is going to proceed.

What is Tove [Tau] saying about America? Is she only amazed?
