ContentThe letter deals with the publishing rights of THE PROPHECY OF MESSIAH. H 383, and reacts to Richard Klos´s letter from 31.01.1985.

He is afraid, but the only document, concerning the publishing rights of the composition is a letter with a declaration of IMP from 19.07.1962, from which is known, that Charlotte Martinů signed a contract with IMP on 01.02.1960 [see the letter from 29.02.1960]. This declaration was after this forwarded by ACUM to SUISA [see the letter from 26.07.1962]. Both letters are inclosed in his actual mail.

It would be more helpful, to obtain a copy of the publishing contract, which is going to be a difficult task. Mr Dr. Gradenwitz sold his rights in the publishing house, which is now owned by Mr and Mrs Stanley Simmonds [provides their adress]. It seems, "according to the new owners", as documents have not been transferred properly from the former owner to the Simmonds.
