He is going to use the orchestra material from the library of the Basel Chamber Orchestra. For the lending fee he requests Universal Edition to contact the promoter or their concert agency, Ibbs and Tillett in London.

Sehr geehrte Herren,



                Am 18. November 1953 führe ich in einem Konzert der Royal Philharmonic Society in London in der Royal Festival Hall das „Concerto grosso“ von Bohuslav Martinu auf. Ich werde hierzu das Material aus der Bibliothek des Basler Kammerorchsters verwenden und bitte Sie, sich wegen der Leihgebühr direkt an die Veranstalter, resp. ihren Vertreter, die Konzertagentur Ibbs and Tillett in London zu wenden.
