ContentThe Ministry of Education and National Enlightenment sends the Chancellery of the President of the Republic a statement on the urgings of 21 October 1921 [KPR 1921-10-21], 3 January and 1 April 1922. It argues for the provision of support for Bohuslav Martinů from the President of the Republic, since the composer is really poor and the income from his work in the orchestra of the Czech Philharmonic is not enough to support him. Moreover, his work as a composer makes it impossible for him to earn a side income.
