Content and physical description
ContentJaroslav Jindra writes to Bohuslav Martinů after a long hiatus and recalls their "Hopfenstock" meetings and their conversations in Paris (also in connection with František Kupka). He writes about his impressions of a play [NONET No. 2] dedicated to the Czech Nonet, of which JJ was a supporter. He appreciates BM's distinctive style and contribution to contemporary music, and refers to the free movement as a Czech meditation. In a work full of optimism and fervour he finds deliverance from the confusion of contemporary artistic production.
