Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů is interested in the position of professor at the Prague Conservatory's master school after Josef Suk, so he asks Jaroslav Jindra for help. He is afraid of a bad reception due to his long stay abroad, and of poor awareness of his work. Martinů has previously had trouble with the education authorities in Prague because he did not want to return from abroad, but now he is ready to return, although he has not yet carried out all his plans. He has been told by Miloš Šafránek that he has informed Kamil Krofta of his intention. He also mentions his other acquaintances in Prague (Karel Hoffmann and Václav Talich), whose support BM hopes for. BM asks Jindra to spread the word about his intention to return and apply for a place at the conservatoire. JJ is also to try to contact Ladislav Urban, who may also be able to help in some way.
