Content and physical description

Content	The letter states that they are enclosing a signed agreement on the transfer of the operating rights to the ballet ŠPALÍČEK from Bohuslav Martinů dated 21 March 1949. According to the agreement, 4 500,- is to be paid as rent until 31 December 1949. As regards the offer to adjust the rent, they are grateful for it, but if the request of 24.3.1949 No. 1362/49 [ND 1949-03-24] is not complied with, they accept the terms of the rent according to the convention. The new offer would be more advantageous only if the SPALIK were to operate only this season. The May 5 Theatre box office will issue 2 free tickets for the show whenever requested. There is also a part of the letter addressed to the Accounting Office, which states that according to the contract of 21.3.1949 concluded with the Melantrich Music Publishing House on the transfer of the operating rights of the ballet BM SPALÍČEK to pay a royalty of 8%. In addition, to pay for the rental of musical material until 31.12.1949 in the amount of 4 500,-. If ŠPALÍČEK was still operating in 1950, an additional 2 250,- would have to be paid for each half year. The last part is addressed to the Dispatch Office - a note to deposit a copy of the contract in the contract collection.
