Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů writes that he is not disappointed about Radio, they have enough money, but not for composers. BM thinks they will reach their goal without them. He still has [CONCERT FOR HOBO AND SMALL ORCHESTRA] in his head, next year Jiří Tanbcibudek can count on him. BM suggests that if JT can't find the appropriate amount, they can work it out with a contract for later and settle after opening night. BM further asks how expensive copy editors are with them as the editor will want to make money as well. He assures TB that they will surely work out a deal. JT's passages still haven't arrived, BM wants to send a lot of them in terms of oboe virtuoso technique. At the end of the letter BM writes again that he hopes all will go well and JT will have [CONCERT FOR OOBOES AND SMALL ORCHESTRA] for the premiere at the Olympics.
BM adds a few more lines for JT personally. His main concern is for JT to have the concert, it might help him "to the limit" one more time, especially if the concert makes it to disc. It would be easiest if Boosey & Hawkes released it. If they wouldn't give permission, BM would back down a bit with the price. Although BM needs some money too, he mainly wants to write a song for JT. JT should keep everything to himself for now and see how things turn out.
