Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů confirms receipt of the letter of 2 October [1953]. In publishing matters, Jan Hanuš will be contacted by BM. He is now contacting JH with a request to send him a Czech translation of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's novel The Demon [Besi] in the old edition published by Otto. He asks that it be sent as soon as possible. The cost is to be added to BM's account with them. Hopes that JH's position in the publishing house will help to obtain this translation.
