Dear Mr. Stein,

Martinu, Sinfonia Concertante: Thank you very much for the orchestra material which has arrived safely. I beg to ask Messrs Boosey & Hawkes to sell me the material; which would be the price?

Strawinsky, Persephone: You have been amiable enough to offer to send a printed score to Italy so that I should get back the manuscript score. Unfortunately this has not arrived here yet and I would ask you to see that Messrs Carisch dispatch the manuscript as soon as possible.

Thanking you in anticipation, I remain

                                                                                              yours sincerely
