Unforeseen events have again up-set our production plans – you have perhaps read about the dispute in the London Printing Trade. I must, therefore, ask you to forgive us if you should receive the parts of Martinu “SINFONIA CONCERTANTE”  a fortinght  later. As for the solo parts, (flute, oboe, violin and cello), we will do our utmost to send them to you at the end of this month as promised.
