Dear Mr. Stein,



                Thank you for your letter of 6th April. I would be very relieved indeed if you could get the printed score of PERSEPHONE at the end of this month. I hope you will succeed!



                There is no such hurry for the score of Martinu’s SINFONIA CONCERTANTE. You had better dispatch it only when the corrections have come from America. The first performance is to be in December. I hope this will leave you sufficient time for the printing of the parts.



                I am curious to know what you find out about H.v.L.
