Erwin Stein informs Paul Sacher that the parts of Bohuslav Martinů's SINFONIA CONCERTANTE are already finished. BM is a bit sloppy in his manuscripts so they prepare a list of queries for him. ES will send the score and Martinů's answers as soon as possible.

Mr. Paul Sacher,

Schoenenberg,

Pratteln, Basle,

Switzerland.

Dear Mr. Sacher,

The score of the Martinu SINFONIA CONCERTANTE is now with me after the parts have been copied. However, there are quite a few doubtful instances – as you know, Martinu is sometimes  a bit careless in his handwriting. For this reason we are now preparing a list of queries which is going to be sent to Martinu. I shall send you the score immediately and I shall also advise you of his answers as soon as he replies.

                              With best wishes,

                                            Yours sincerely,

                                                           [podpis]

                                            Erwin Stein.
