22nd February 1950
Dear Mr. Stein,
Thank you for your letter of 20th February. I am very glad indeed that it proved to be a false alarm about Martinu’s SINFONIA CONCERTANTE having been performed in Paris.
In reply to your question I inform you that the newly printed score of Strawinsky’s APOLLON MUSAGETE has never been sent to me. I would be very pleased to receive it.
I possess already a score of Strawinsky’s PERSEPHONE copied by hand. But it is not very legible and I was therefore looking forward to getting the printed score. So I have to wait in patience now until the prints are ready in Paris. Would you however remind them of sending me a rough, unbound score as soon as possible!
Yours sincerely
