Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher asks whether Bohuslav Martinů's TOCCATA E DUE CANZONI, which he premiered on 21 January [1947], and Igor Stravinsky's Concerto in D minor for string orchestra have already been published as score and parts. The score of the American works, which BH wrote about on 27 November [1946], has not yet arrived. PS hopes it is not lost.
Transcription of the letter

[...] Could you tell me whether you think of editing the new compositions by strawinsky and Martinu of which I had the first performance here in Basle on January 21st, and whether you will print score and orchestra parts?  The works are

               Strawinsky Concerto in d for string-orchestra (1946)

Martinu Toccata e due Canzoni (1946)

The score of American pieces which you announced on your letter of November 27th have not yet reached me. I sincerely hope they are not lost, it would be a pity! [...]
