Madame![1] Přijměte moji omluvu, že nemohu vyplniti Vaše přání a nemohu půjčiti klavír ke koncertů v Poličce. Důvodů mám mnoho, z nichž uvádím některé. Nechci aby bylo s klavírem hnuto, protože než jsme jej přestěhovali do našeho domku byl uložen v místnosti, která mu dosti uškodila a jsem rád že jsem jej teď přivedl zase do dobrého stavu. Měl bych velký strach o něho, zvláště když bych nebyl sám přítomen přenesení. Doufám že Vám tím nezpůsobuji žádné obtíže, protože vím, že uznáte moji starost
