Content and physical description
ContentDilia learned from Jaromír Špaček that Charlotta Martinů had no news of JULIETTA. In a letter dated 3 November 1964, Dilia informed Charlotte that the French translation of JULIET was to be lent to Edmond Carrière by Boosey & Hawkes in Paris. This is a translation by Bronislaw Horowitz, made for the RTF broadcast of the opera in January 1962. EC was given a copy of the letter in question. Dilia also contacted B&H in Paris.
ChM is to write to B&H and to SACD herself.
The writer thanks her for her wishes for the New Year and hopes that ChM is now well.
