Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher has received a reply from the publishers Boosey and Hawkes, New York, to his enquiry about plans to publish new compositions by Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky (Concerto in D) and Bohuslav Martinů (TOCCATA E DUE CANZONI), stating that the works are scheduled for publication by the same publisher in London. He therefore asks when the scores and orchestral material for these works will be available.
Transcription of the letter

"[...] I asked your firm in New York whether they intended to publish

Strawinsky, Concerto in d für string orchestra (1946¨)

Martinu, Toccata e due Canzoni (1946)

Boosey and Hawkes in New York replied that these compositions were on the list though not to be published by the house in New York but by your house in London. I should therefore be very grateful to you if you would kindly tell me when the scores and orchestra parts of these works will be available. [...]"
