ContentVítězslava Kaprálová Sr. thanks Bohuslav Martinů for the beautiful composition [ADAGIO (MEMORIES)]. She had to play this work immediately. She was also very impressed by the Field Mass, performed by the State Philharmonic Orchestra and the Moravan Academic Choir led by conductor Břetislav Bakala. She had not heard something so beautiful for several years. VK st. asks BM if he can use his composition to open the memorial evening in memory of Václav and Vítězslava Kapral. When VK Sr. visits Three Wells, he will think of BM very much. He adds criticism from the People's Democracy to his letter.
