Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kaprálová Sr. attended a concert at the State Conservatory in Brno, where she heard the OPENING OF THE STUDENTS. The beauty of this work moved her to tears. She remembered Bohuslav Martinů and her daughter Vítězslava Kaprálová. On 6 April 1957, 10 years passed since the death of her husband Václav Kaprál, whose fame as a composer is fading into oblivion. VK st. would have been happy if BM had composed a composition for him in memoriam.
