ContentBoosey & Hawkes thank Dilia for her letter of 20.10.1958, concerning THE FAIR ON THE BRIDGE at the theatre in Ústí nad Labem. They enclose two copies of the contract for the period 27 October 1958 to 1 June 1959. They state the amount of the rental and operating fees.
As far as the Warsaw Opera is concerned, they prefer to negotiate the operating fee and rental fee directly with ZAIKS (the Union of Polish Authors) in Warsaw, as they wrote in their letter of 30 September 1958. They also wrote to ZAIKS and quoted to them the conditions for lending them material which they could supply directly to Poland from London.
