ContentDilia responds to a letter from Boosey & Hawkes dated 8/1/1959. They have again reviewed previous correspondence between them regarding JULIETTA and send B&H pages 1-77 of the score. They ask for acknowledgement of their receipt.
They repeat that they have not yet received the piano extract with the English translation by Walter Schmolka. On 28.2.1958 they write to B&H in Bonn that, according to the information in the letter from Bohuslav Martinů, not only the score, orchestral voices and piano extracts are in Bonn, but also one piano extract with the English translation. The Bonn B&H wrote back on 1 March 1958 saying that this piano extract was currently on loan and was therefore not enclosed with the material sent. Dilia asked for it again on 22 March 1958. B&H promised on 29/3/1958 to send it to her as soon as they received it. Dilia still does not have the elevator; it may have remained in Bonn or been loaned to Wiesbaden [Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden].
