ContentMariana Vytlačilová thanks Bohuslav Martinů for the invitation to the concert. Unfortunately, she will not be able to come to Prague because of her husband's illness. But she will think about BM during the concert. She would like to listen to his work. MV plans to come to Prague for the meeting of the Syndicate of Czech Writers. Perhaps she could also listen to CZECH RHAPSODY on that occasion. MV writes that she has no friends in Prague, so she has to visit restaurants and go home the same day. She blames BM for not returning her manuscripts as she asked him to. She could have given them to another composer to set to music, for example [Josef] Charvát.
