ContentThe sender thanks them for their letter of 24.4.1959, in the meantime DILIA has contacted them and they will continue to negotiate with them about representation. The Novák Quartet will first appear in Darmstadt on 3 September 1959 at the Days of New Music and will perform Luciano Berio's String Quartet and Alois Haba's Six Tone Quartet. He asks for the durata of both works and further details for the programme. In connection with the public concert, they would also like to arrange for a recording to be made in cooperation with colleagues in Frankfurt. They are happy to accept the proposal of the Novák Quartet to perform the String Quartet No. 5 by Bohuslav Martinů 8th String Quartet by Alois Hába as follows.
