ContentThe writer thanks the firm of Boosey & Hawkes for their letter of 6 May 1954 concerning JULIETTA and SPALICE. The publishing rights to both works are held by Melantrich. By agreement with Melantrich, Dilia has the right to reproduce orchestral material for these works. The writer asks how many copies B&H will need and by when.
B&H are to write to Dilia to tell them which countries they are interested in representing. Dilia would represent countries for which it would be difficult to pay royalties in pounds. Dilia agrees that royalties from countries belonging to B&H should be paid directly to the composer. B&H would only send Dilia the rental fees.
