Content and physical description
ContentMiroslav Venhoda does not plan to write to Bohuslav Martinů because he does not want to bother him. However, he would be happy if Bohuslav Martinů's family would be surprised in a future letter that BM did not comment on the MV's shipment. Indeed, MV suspects that BM did not receive his letter. The parcel contained a recording of THE BATTLE SONGS, THE PAINHEAD, THE MAGIC AND THE DUMBLING [from THE FIVE CZECH MADRIGALS], ten books with reproductions of pictures, and a book by Methodius Florian, which he gave to BM. MV wishes the Martin family wonderful days in Smiřice. Finally, he adds that he is very pleased that Professor Nováková liked the business in Kuks.
