ContentBefore leaving Prague, Charlotta Martinů agreed with Jaromír Špáček (about whom she has no news) that the translators of JULIETTA would not receive royalties for each radio performance using their translation. In fact, ChM paid them a higher amount than what was stated in the contract.
ChM asked Zdeněk Pechold to send the piano lift of JULIETTA with the French text to Didier Duclos in Paris for DD to forward to Rouen [Opéra de Rouen Haute Normandie]. ChM had to send the one that was delivered to her from Dilie. It will therefore be necessary to send her another one if anyone is interested.
ChM wrote to Spacek that [Lyon Opera] was considering performing JULIETTA in the 1969/1970 season. She hopes to have the orchestral material completed.
ChM asks for news of JS, his letter has probably been lost.
