ContentSACD responds to Dilia's letter of 14 April 1970. In it, Dilia said that in the event of a performance of JULIETTA outside Czechoslovakia, she would arrange for payment of royalties to Georges Neveux directly in France. However, for the opera's performance in Vienna, Dilia apparently collected the fees herself. GN is surprised that payment was not sent to SACD.
Dilia agreed to the condition that royalties must be paid in convertible currency for the performance of JULIETTA. It is not clear about performances performed outside Czechoslovakia before 14 April 1970, when Dilia wrote the letter. Were the fees for these returned to Czechoslovakia? Are they now considered non-transferable?
