ContentThe writer replies to Dilia's letter of 23 March 1970. The sum of 520 francs sent to Dilia [in connection with the performance of JULIETTA at the Grand Théâtre d'Angers] covers only the hire of the material. In France, royalties are not received by the publisher but by SACD. JULIETTA was duly reported to this company, including the agreed distribution of royalties. SACD received the royalties from the theatre's sales and will pay the respective shares independently of the publisher.
The writer can perhaps assure Dilia that Eleuthère Lovreglio is not included in the royalty distribution. Indeed, Charlotte Martinů preferred a flat fee in his case.
