ContentDilia thanks Walter Schmolk for his letter of 28 September 1970. From Charlotte Martinů they received a copy of her agreement with WS concerning the English translation of JULIETTA and the division of royalties. Dilia agrees to Schmolk's translation participation and his stipulated share of royalties. The right of translation into English is not exclusive, especially with respect to Geraldine Much's translation.
In Dilia, they need the piano excerpt with the WS English translation inscribed on it as a template for the underlying text in other piano excerpts. They are also asking for one or two typescript translations. The printed piano lifts can only be entered by hand, which will take at least 9 months. They are therefore asking for materials to be sent quickly so that work can begin as soon as possible.
