ContentDilia acknowledges receipt of letters from SACD dated 11 and 17 August 1971. They do not understand why SACD does not trust their official communications regarding the distribution of royalties for the performance of JULIETTA.
The contract with Charlotte Martinů was drawn up in Czech and French on 14 June 1967 when ChM was in Prague. 1/11 of the royalties go to Dilia to compensate her for the costs of producing the material.
Dilia sees no reason why it should send the documentation in the form requested and thus clarify its official communications again. They ask SACD to reconsider their position and to follow the letter from Dilia dated 4 August 1971.
