Content and physical description
ContentElisabeth Sprague-Coolidge hosts a festival at her summer home in Pittsfield. The Roth Quartet will be there with Egon Kornstein to perform the SMITH QUINTET. The ESC will send out official invitations to the event during mid-August 1928, but would like to invite Bohuslav Martinů now. She would be very honored if BM would attend this premiere. She also asks that the piece not be played anywhere until the festival, as she wishes to perform it for the first time in Pittsfield.
