Content and physical description
ContentBM thanks for the letter and the happier news about the execution of his works and about Talich. He is still having health problems, composing is wearing him out. He apologizes that the article about V. Kapralova did not turn out as he would have liked. He remembers her compositions vaguely and has heard nothing performed except the Symphonietta. He regrets that his arrival has been delayed and doubts that he will be able to come to the Prague Spring Festival, and especially regrets that he will not be present at the concert by P. Sacher [23 April 1947], who will perform the DVOJKONCERT. He is not making any plans yet, everything depends on the speed of his recovery. He begs to submit his article.
