ContentThe PSPU replies to Zdeněk Pechold's letter of 17 February 1964 concerning the performance of ISAIAH'S PROPHECY [erroneously "Jeremiah's"]. PSPU wanted to perform the work in its [Czechoslovak] premiere. Since it was first performed by the Czech Choir on 14 Dec. 1963 [Charlotte's letter DLA 1963-10-01 gives the date of the forthcoming Czechoslovak performance as 14 Dec. 4.12.], the PSPU does not plan to perform it in the foreseeable future.
