Content and physical description
ContentThe Music Department writes to the Theatre Department to find out the current copyright situation of Charlotte Martinů's ballet THE MOTHER WHO DUPED. According to Miloš Šafránek, the ballet was not published because Bohuslav Martinů could not agree with the heirs of Rudyard Kipling during his lifetime on the financial terms for the use of his text. The MoS proposes that the Czechoslovak Embassy in London try to renegotiate with the heirs. They recommend that the ChM be consulted.
